Genderial Hegemony

As Managing Editor, I would like to object in the strongest terms possible to our Eastern Seaboard Bureau Chief's submittal hereto. To suggest that the male of the species is not the master of his own destiny--contrary to every other indicator, be it the arts, management literature, or any other means of separating the mark from his bankroll--is innately repugnant. Moreover, the corollary to the effect that Womankind is not intuitively engaged in the fundamental life-affirmation of nurturing, emoting and going shopping is profoundly unacceptable--suggesting, as it does, that a power struggle is underway in lieu of the unctuous you-complete-me number that is the self-evident cultural reality.

Regrettably, the Editorial Board has declined to blacklist Padraic O'Cossett on the grounds that, with a readership like this, he's already on one.

By copy of this posting, he is herewith reassigned to the Gaza office.
